About me: We recently purchased our first home, I started testing out my green thumb with plants purchased at local stores & flea markets, and obtained from friends and families gardens(lillies, gardenias, jasmine, four o’clocks, morning glories, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, grapes, etc.), along with the few (but beautiful) plants that came with the house (roses, hostas, rhodedenrons, azaleas, etc.).
Then (quite by accident) I learned that growing from seed was much more in my price range than full grown plants, and a lot more rewarding.... this led to an awfully compulsive seed snatching habit, as well as an addiction to ordering seeds online.
Then as winter set in, so did my obsession with houseplants.... needless to say, that I am hooked far beyond help and I love it.
I’m here to learn as much as I can about the plants I have, and those that I don’t, to "meet" fellow gardners who won’t roll their eyes at my seed started convo’s, or rooting cutting revelations... and to have a good time.
