About me: Hello, I am a Wife and Mom of 4 great kids. Kids ages are 19,19,14,and 8. I have been a gardener all my life. I grew up playing in the dirt of my grandmothers veggie garden and had full run of her flower beds and greenhouse. My 2 sisters and several of our friends are continuously in friendly competition to see who’s garden is best and who grows what better. We love to plant, root and trade plants and seeds. My loving husband putts up with all this and even helps me with making beds and structures. If I could just get the kids as interested in plants as I was as a child I would be so happy.

Commented: Finding more uses for WS jugs/foil tape Hey pippi, Yes, anything shredded will help. Lasagna beds are great for clay soil also. I add manure and my own compost every year, we have the red clay. Pattie
