About me: For years, I've enjoyed tending and amending the existing flowering plants, shrubs and roses around the homes I've lived in, with help from GW members.
In 2012 I started a raised vegetable garden on the barren strip of land on the one side of the house that gets enough sun to support it. Starting from seed using a tabletop "greenhouse" immediately hooked me on seed buying and growing.
The winter of 2012 I set up a lighted, heated "greenhouse" in the unheated basement and I'm starting many more seeds indoors in preparation for the flower and veggie gardens of 2013. I remain the student gardener with the eyes far larger than her yard, zone, sunlight allotment, and gardening knowledge.
That is to say, it's crowded in the greenhouse, and I need help.
