About Us

I specialize in residential & small commercial Design. Your style becomes my style, I offer consultation only for an hourly fee or, if purchasing project and products through me, fees may be waived. I was educated at Wayne State University. I was trained at Hudson's Studio of Interior Design and worked there for 27 years. Both well respected programs. Any money spent on interior furnishings need to be well spent. I never want to hear anymore stories from clients where they made an impulse purchase, or bought based on price only, or furnished the room in the wrong order making the last piece almost impossible. I am a good listener but also offer suggestions you may not have considered. Call me & we will talk before any commitments are made.

Rita has provided outstanding service to me. She has been knowledgeable, punctual, congenial and very professional. Moreover, her ability to listen to my needs,, as well as try very hard to meet them, impressed me. By advising and directing me gently, she enhanced my living room into a comfortable and beautiful living area. I especially like the textures she created by using accents and the paisley she recommended for a chair that is the focal point of this main room....I was very reluctant to try them, but she convinced me to do so. Overall, I was pleased with Rita's work and advice and would certainly recommend her as a designer to friends and family members. As a plus, she adhered to my budget and completed the job within her allotted time period.

Rita has decorated two of my houses. I liked what she did so well I hired her again when I purchased a new house. She is very creative and I was extremely happy with the r silts.

Rita did a one time color consultation for repainting the interior of our home. She was great! She has very good taste and picked out excellent colors for the entire house, especially the kitchen. Would definitely recommend!
