About me: I’ve been gardening for @ 5 years, and knew it was my calling, even before I first stuck my hands in the soil. I inherited a beautiful garden from my home’s previous owner (who lived there for 19 years). We have a cute house with 1/2 acre of property, and a huge back yard with a beautiful old silver maple right in the center. When we were buying the house, the thing that clinched it for me was the huge bed of lily-of-the-valley, which had always been my absolute favorite flower. We initially looked at the house in the winter, so I was unaware of this stroke of luck until the week before we closed on May 1st!
We’ve been in our house just over 2 years, and I’m still seeing new things spring up in the garden. There are lots of perennials, bulbs, daylilies, etc., and I have a huge amount to learn, but it’s so much fun. I love trying new things, new combinations, and strange plants.
My zone is: Zone 6b NJ
