About me: We are a 60-something couple, (no kids but lots of foreign exchange students) with a keen interest in sustainable gardening, growing veggies, and cooking them. I joined GardenWeb in 2007 when we embarked on building a "green" house. Our marriage of 30+ years has survived the build, and the last 30+ years of gardening together. In the meantime, I discovered lots of great resources here on the forums. Now that the house is built, we turn our focus to the garden, the landscape, and preserving the food that we grow.
