About me: Planted my first garden in September 2010. I started because I desire to be more "food independent". Now, I just plain love it! I try to grow food, herbs, butterfly plants. I also love flowers. I have no idea of the scientific name for anything I grow and I feel "smart" if I can remember even the common name for it! I am a wife, mom, and grandma. I have a dog and three cats, and volunteer part time with an
animal rescue group.
