About me: I'm the father of 7 children ages 20 to 35, three boys, four girls. I've been gardening in southern coastal California since 1968 moving from vegetables to annuals, to perennials to daylilies. Other garden favorites are camillias, palms, cycads, staghorns, bamboo & begonias.
I'm a former "master gardener" currently an AHS Horticultural and Garden Judge and have held most positions in our local daylily club. Currently I'm the Plant Procurement Chairman for the Southwest Hemerocallis Society and one of the 15 directors on the AHS board of directors. I have about 900 different daylily cultivars and each year I add some new ones and take out some old ones to make room.
I have a small city lot at the edge of a "canyon" in San Diego. My garden is an AHS "display garden" you are cordially invited to visit.

My zone is: 10 So.Calif.
