My next project: Building my own.
About me: I am a Los Angeles-based writer and filmmaker who grew up in Japan. My interest in architecture began in childhood, when my family lived in a noted Tokyo house by Antonin Raymond, an architect who first came to Japan to work with Frank Lloyd Wright on the Imperial Hotel. I majored in History and East Asian Studies at Wellesley, studied Japanese language at Harvard and did graduate work in Japanese history at UC-Berkeley before working at The Asia Foundation and in the film industry.
