About me: I’m an avid Gardner in Eastern NC on Bogue Banks one of NC’s barrier islands. I’m situated on the sound side of the island and have 7 acres with two fresh water ponds and one salt water pond. We struggle with salt water flooding in the autumn months with the perennial hurricanes.
My hobbies are gardening and fishing. I have three boats one a shallow draft creek boat used for setting crab pots, throwing a cast net for shrimp, and setting flounder nets. Once this area was inhabited by Indians and you could live off the water.
