About me: I'm very happy to find this website. Now I know that there are other people out there like me! I wouldn't call gardening and plants an obsession, but, well, maybe it is. I like to think of it more as a passion. I think it runs in my family, but everyone else is in denial! They think I'm the obsessed one. I always catch them bringing new plants home. Maybe...I do bring a few more home....but I just can't help myself!

Commented: Planting in late July, early August ... Waiting would be better. Unless you want to water them everyday. I have had success when I watered everyday with plants that were in pots that I planted, but the ones I dug up to transplant didn't mak...

Commented: bird feeders??????? My hummingbird feeders are about 6 feet from my seed feeder and for the most part the hummers weren't bothered. I have a brown headed cow bird and his girl friend that have decided to just hang out up...
