Commented: Figs have not dropped leaves - how to winterize?? I have just hauled my potted figs down to my basement. It doesn't get below 50 degrees and I always find them sending out long pale shoots. Should I cover them to block light? Thanks, J

Commented: Some very bad advice, my leaves are burning. Just my two cents...ants and aphids seem to go together. I put down ant traps last year...ants were gone, so were the aphids! J
