About me: Fescue (festuca) is a type of lawn grass. Fine fescues are wonderfully soft, dark green, and relaxing to lay on in the shade on a lazy Sunday afternoon. (Course fescues are suitable for pasture grass, and usually something you want to eliminate in your lawn, UNLESS it's TTTF). I appreciate all grasses.
Some goals:
Perfect, manicured lawn, mowed low and intensly maintained. Not many people have these, or the equipment to maintain them; they are therefore unique. I’ve always appreciated such lawns.
Would like to learn about landscape design. If I could do it again, I would select that as a career. Will greedily snap up any little tidbits I can learn from experienced designers about a disciplined approach to design, arrangement, grading, etc.
Interested in learning as much as I can about horticulture.
Have been a homeowner for less than a year - fair amount of book learning, not much experience.
