Commented: Plant ID I think that's a reference to the heat of the maruga... Making it "barley edible". Just a guess.

Commented: drip line. . . connecting/installing Ya, those are drippers. I've never seen them with hose on both ends though. That may slow the drop down, somewhat. I'd run the hose to the plant, and then use a dripper on the end.

Commented: Doomed? Broken leaf..... Obviously, the loss/damage of a non-terminal leaf on a phal does not spell certain death. Leaf loss happens.
