About me: I planted my first fruit trees in 2005, along with a few blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, on a farm in Nelson County, VA (near Charlottesville) my wife and I had just purchased. What began as a hobby has now morphed into a full blown addiction. I find growing fruit to be a highly rewarding mix of providing healthy/unique food for my family, exercise, science, and interacting with nature. I’ve learned far more from this site than any of the books I’ve purchased and am very grateful to everyone that takes the time to post here. The following is my current list of fruit and nuts I’m currently growing.

Commented: Don't let your blackberries burn That's interesting about the sun angle having such a significant effect. It explains why I had white druplets so bad this year with my TCs being a month early. I tried using burlap to shade them, but ...

Commented: Bare Root Blueberries from Finch? I've considering ordering from Finch before, but always ended up getting my blueberries in the same order as my other fruiting plants. My dad lives in Durham and he drove there a few years ago and got...
