About me: I have been gardening for 11 years, and it all started with my friend throwing wild flowers seeds along my driveway. When they came up, I was hooked.I now have two annual gardens, one sun perennial, one shady perennial, and two vegetable gardens. I also added a cherry tree, three lilacs, and assorted shrubs.I love climbing vines, like morning glory, moonflower clematis, spanish flag, climbing Blackeye Susan, and I have two types of honeysuckle.I grow herbs, corn, beans, cukes, tomatoes,( regular and heirloom) brussel sprouts, broccoli, radish, beets, and peas.My favorite plants of all, are anything fragrant. So of course I have 35 Stargazer lillys. I would love to find Bears Breeches ( acanthus mollis~~or Acanthus Spinosus ) but so far, have had no luck finding it.I am also a complusive seed collecter and saver. I would love to share. I also love nightblooming flowers. I have just started with roses after a long fight with myself. I love the fragrance but hate the black spot and powdery mildew which is rampant in our area.

"GARDENING IS A KIND OF DISEASE. IT INFECTS YOU, YOU CANNOT EXCAPE IT. WHEN YOU GO VISITING, YOUR EYES ROVE ABOUT THE GARDEN; YOU INTERRUPT THE SERIOUS COCKTAIL DRINKING BECAUSE OF AN IRRESISTIBLE IMPULSE TO GET UP AND PULL A WEED."
