About me: I’ve been growing organic vegetables for over 30 years, but now I grow mostly ornamentals. I have about 1,200 square feet of garden space - not bad for San Francisco! Much of it is very shady, since it’s on the north side of a 40 ft. building. I have a little greenhouse in my garden, where I grow orchids, bromeliads, and tomatoes. I’ve just recently added an area to my garden, with a 500 gallon pond.
I’m a volunteer at Strybing Arboretum nursery, where I grow bamboo and Passifloras for their monthly plant sales.

My zone is: San Francisco
