About me: I’m Argentinean and live in The Netherlands (my husband is Dutch). We have a large garden around our home, and a good sized property behind it, to start growing vegetables.
He supports me unconditionally in my gardening endeavors, and that makes me feel I can’t fail. But if I do, he just cheers me up. That’s priceless!
The garden around the house was so neglected and overgrown when we bought it in Oct/2004, that in summer ’06 we got it all taken away. Now it’s all new lawn, and we plan to get planted an hedge all around the home property next fall ’07, for privacy, windbreak, and to divide/screen the vegetable garden.
I consider myself a newbie in most things, and although sometimes it gets difficult, I’m enjoying the learning experience, a lot!
As an added bonus, gardening is teaching me to be patient…
Have not chosen a favorite forum at Gardenweb, since I’ve got many!
