My next project: My step son's room. It's odd that it took almost a year for the look and feel to hit me in this room. He is 15. I didnt want a theme....I dont do themes....I go for vibes. I took my grandchild to a local are market one Saturday after ballet. There was a super talented artist that featured iconic singers that were all deceased. I already had a Becky Fos Bob Marley piece and added Tupac, Biggie and Nipsy Hustle to the collage. He is a pianist and loves sports....lives for video games. I plan to incorporate his likes in his room.
About me: Decor enthusiast. RN by profession, interior designer in my dreams. I grew up in a home with brown walls, brown furniture and brown floors. My Mom let me decorate my own room that I changed every few years. I remember yellow...peach and gray and pink and green decor projects. I have an eye and a serious passion for fine decor. I'd rather shop for home goods over shoes and clothes any day of the week! I go with the vibe of the room....the purpose of the room should be reflected in its decor as well as design.
