About me: As a youngster, I was a reluctant farmer since, we lived 3 1/2 hours away from our farm. This meant spending weekends, holidays and summers working there rather than running the streets here in the burbs of New Orleans. That farm and, the lifestyle lessons learned from it probably, to an extent, saved me. The strong religious and moral stength of my Cajun French parents finally rose to the surface. For the past 30 years I have enjoyed gardening. Its been really tough trying to garden these last few years due to health issues. I absolutely love my 12 grandchildren (7 girls, 5 boys).

My zone is: SE Louisiana
