About me: I have a lot to learn about gardening. My parents always had a lovely garden and were able to give me advice when requiredNow we have to manage on our own and am having a very interesting time trying to get things looking nice. Unfortunately I don't have green fingers and am hoping that mine will at least turn a shade of green with all the help you may be able to give me.We have a 1/4 acre section with lots of room for improvement. There is quite a lot of lawn and my husband would like to put down green concrete instead!!!!!!!There are several camelia trees; hydrangeas; three roses each purchased in memory of the death of loved ones; herbs;vegetables; citrus trees (two planted recently)and also planted a passionfruit vine yesterday (fingers crossed that this will survive). A norfolk pine which we bought for a Christmas tree last year and intended to bring inside again this year. However it is much too tall now. This tree is how I first came across this web. There are red tips on the ends of the fronds and I wondered if this is usual or should we being taking any action.
