To be honest, it's a tad difficult to describe the interior-design-obsessed website houzz.com. It is a bit of everything from inspiration to design notebook, to videos, to blog, to addiction -- in a good way.

There are thousands of photos to drool over or move to your Ideabook, which you can create on the site. You can sort by style -- Asian, eclectic etc. -- or space -- bath, bedroom -- or metro area. Or you can just click around and find work done by professionals as well as ideas from other bloggers.

Featured Ideabooks have titles like: Made Up Design Word of the Day: "Bedscape"; Cracking the Color Code; For the Love of Four-Posters. And the great thing is, the ideas are from all over, so there isn't one "look." This is no catalog.

Have a design question? Post it along with any photos and, presto, you'll get advice from others.

A new iPad app has also been launched so you can search, save, mark as a favorite -- basically access inspiration anywhere.

The site is almost overly interactive, but if you narrow your searches by style and room, you will come away with a full Ideabook. The Buzz Board is another way to see what's, well, catching buzz.
