Houzz is looking for a positive, goal-oriented individual to join our Sales Support Team. As a Houzz Pro Support Specialist, you will ensure Houzz Pro users have first in class support using the Houzz Pro System.
The ideal candidate for this position is an excellent problem solver and communicator who loves supporting others while operating in a dynamic environment where challenging, and improving existing processes through critical thinking is a must. This person remains calm under pressure, has excellent prioritisation skills and can convert challenging situations into positive experiences. They also should be very understanding and truly passionate about helping Houzz Pro users.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Ensure Houzz Pro users are educated on all aspects of the platform
-Provide superior customer service, contribute to a positive work environment, and embody the Houzz team culture
-Answer inbound client support phone calls and emails to resolve problems using the Houzz platform
-Work internally with the Client Success team and the Product team to improve client experience and ensure an exceptional user experience
-Resolve all client support enquiries within a set time frame
-Achieve monthly client satisfaction targets and other related metrics
-Build and publish client websites using our easy to use, proprietary Website Services tool
-Previous experience in customer support or client facing roles (ideally in tech)
-Undergraduate degree or 3x years work experience
-Superior customer service skills and customer-centric mentality
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Strong computer skills (knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus)
-Keen attention to detail
-Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to maintain a long-term, broader vision while facing short-term, daily tasks
-Team oriented, proactive, professional, focused and positive
-Enthusiastic about change and eagerness to work in a very dynamic startup environment
-Ability to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet, and demonstrate great problem solving abilities
-Native level Japanese and Business level English
