PS. The daybed here made me think of it, but the one shown looks too much like a bed to pass as extra seating. A bed without a headboard positioned against a wall with a colored comforter and large sham covered pillows along the wall would be more versatile. Don't think people would be very comfortable sitting on someone's white (very obvious) bed.

These are awesome ideas. Let me tell you I don't necessarily want to move again and again but I really need some versatile furniture. I think the BEST idea is to own ONE statement piece per room, something that will take the edge of art, decoration and many pieces that add up to much to the move. I fell in love with a womb chair and I don't need anything more up in that wall, just some white paint. It's a mix of scandinavian minimalism and mid century style. LOVE IT.
