I like the island, although the work aisle is just under the NKBA recommended minimum of 42". If you separate the zones I think it will be OK. I would flank the main sink with both DWs and store dishes in drawers on the corner of the island. Put a MW drawer on the other end and center the sink to provide a primary prep space to the right. Can you move the fridge to the left (reducing the width of the entry) to make sure the door will open far enough to remove cripers? NKBA guidelines New to Kitchens? Read me first.
