The Periscope window can be on an upper deck of the house. That way, one can come up and maintain the window itself. I also love how the roof is a green roof. Very good for critical areas.

I like that the house has the potential of having one's cake and eating it too, with regard to impervious surfaces. One could have a shade garden underneath, in addition to a shaded patio area in the center.
