Collage of Side Garden Top left is right when we moved in, completely over run by the invasive varieties of coneflower/black eyed susans. Top right photos is after 5 or 6 weed whacking endeavors against aforementioned plants. Bottom left is final product of my glads and dahlias having been planted, and of course, sprinkled in the middle are close up of my flowers once they were in bloom.
Collage of my "lone plants" that are planted in weird areas not able to be caught easily on camera with the "main garden" or planted off in some distant corner. Top four are the progression of my Peppermint Pop (lovely smell, incredible growth, low maintenance but killer thorns). It wraps around the front side of the house and tucks itself near the chimney. On the opposite side of the chimney, in the back yard, is the JFK rose and the Bleeding Heart planted next to one another (sounds odds but it works nicely). Bottom four photos are the progression of my beloved, yet dwindling, Sweet Drift Rose tree. I think RT's are simply too delicate for my zone, as half the graft has died.
Collage of the progression of my Front Gardens (mirrored - left and right side of front door) Top left is before we moved in - gross, poorly maintained rhododendrons and holly. Top right and middle left is early spring, with my horrible, sporadic planting and red mulch. Middle is my JFK roses and hibiscus filling in in the summer, followed by photos of Snow Fountain, the JFK roses and dinner plate hibiscus
Collage of my container roses. Top right is before there were any blooms, early in the spring. 3 photos making an 'L' around that photo are PInata rose pictures 3 on the bottom right are progression of my Climbing Blaze 1 bottom left all alone is Double Delight (looks MUCH different now but didn't manage to get a photo before frost set in) The top 4 are red and white mandevilla plants
