Houzz Call: Show Us Your Outdoor Art
Do you have a piece of original art displayed outside your home? We want to see it!
Just like our homes’ interiors, our landscapes and outdoor spaces are good places to display fine art. Do you have an original sculpture in your garden, a handmade mosaic on your walkway or a mural on your garage door? If so, we’d love to see it!
Circle art. The homeowner of this Lake Michigan home purchased this sculpture at a Chicago street art fair. Have you found a treasured piece of outdoor art at a gallery or fair?
Wall mural. Here, San Francisco artist Mike Kershnar is seen working on a piece of street art. Have you hired someone like Kershnar to create a mural on the outside of your home? Or did you inherit outdoor art when you bought your home?
Pink snail. This home is full of fun pops of color indoors, which the homeowner continued on the grounds with this giant pink snail scuplture. Have you added a bit of color to your garden through art?
Pool art. Why use art only indoors? This piece hanging by a pool was created by Portland, Oregon, artist Carole Meyer. It’s coated in an epoxy resin to protect it from the elements; still, Meyer advises bringing her paintings inside during winter.
