One key point that I forgot to mention, I am going to try to only pack a carry-on bag and a small-ish backpack. So, washability is important.
@Kswl, funny you mention bateau neck and 3/4 sleeves. I have this top from Talbots in almost any color you can name…and twice in some! The problem is it is a bit too long to wear untucked and I think tucking in a knit top just emphasizes my ”muffin top.”
@1929Spanish-GW, thank goodness you aren’t talking a ”millenial crop-top.” No one wants to see this midriff bared!
@Funkyart, if those tops are still available at Talbot’s and in my size, I may try them! The JJill dress is cute too. I’m already taking 2 or 3 dresses. The one below is Eileen Fisher. I own it in navy, black, and coral. I know that I can rinse it out, roll it in towel, then hang to dry and it will be dry by morning. It is very cool, mainly because it doesn’t touch me any where.
@eld6161, the long skirt is more of a vision thing. I‘m not really a long skirt wearer, but this one looked like it might be cool and it is washable.
Someone mentioned tank tops. I own 2, one white and one navy, but I don’t really like the look. I bought the 2 to wear under sweaters.
@roarah, I’m just the opposite…heavier on the bottom than on the top. I keep wondering what the skirt would look like with my chambray shirt tied at the waist. Guess I need to find out!
ETA: I was writing while several of you were posting.
@carolb_w_fl_coastal_9b, where is that linen tank from? Cute!
@l pinkmountain, on the days we are cooking, I’ll probably wear something other than white. I see the white skirt more for the days we are touring.
@Tina Marie, trust me. I’m being realistic about my shape.
