The last house we sold with a pool went on the market in March. If the house has so many other positives, I think it can overcome not seeing the backyard in its prime. Definitely make sure that you have high quality photos of your backyard as it looks in the summer. In addition to putting in the listing, print them out at large scale and mount them on boards in a room that overlooks the backyard so buyers can envision the pool during the showing. The most challenging thing that you will run into is not people being able to envision the backyard, but wanting to inspect the pool and all of its parts before closing. Many buyers like to see the pool open and functioning to confirm that it works.
