That is an AVERAGE price for a bathroom. Between the expense of materials such as cabinets, plumbing fixtures, lighting/ventilation, countertops, glass enclosure, towel bars, mirrors/accessories, and tile/stone not to mention all the labor involved to fabricate and install all that, it’s the most expensive room in a house per square ft.

Well I had no idea. I had assumed kitchens cost the most.

Of course I think the glass enclosure is often a poor idea-must be cleaned multiple times a day, dangerous in falls. Their popularity puzzles me. Again the photographed bathrooms were beautiful.

I see your plight with glass however there are great coatings that eliminate that chore and grab bars do wonders in shower and tub areas.
