Baseball Equipment for the Win
These 17 spaces use baseball equipment to root, root, root for the home team
Whether your favorite team made it to the World Series this year or not, you can root for them at home by incorporating baseball equipment into your decor year-round. Bats, baseballs, gloves, stadium seats and scoreboards step up to the plate and hit a home run in each of these sporty rooms.
The square set off in this striped bedroom wall displays four alternately hung Louisville Sluggers. The bats serve as a focal point in a baseball-themed bedroom, complete with a glove and two framed baseball images.
At first glance, you’ll see the crisscrossed baseball bats and baseball ottoman. Both are great pieces of baseball decor, but look closer at the curtain hardware. It turns out that baseball bats make great curtain rods.
The designers wanted to emphasize the baseball theme, so they used window treatments that looped around a bat instead of a traditional rod, says Judith Sisler Johnston, interior designer at Sisler Johnston Interior Design.

An equipment rack organizes a handful of baseball bats that hang under a vintage poster in what was once a cluttered hallway. This organization method quickly brings order to a collection of baseball bats.
Two baseball bat lamps illuminate the rest of this boy’s baseball bedroom. The shape of the bat emphasizes the baseball theme, but in a miniature version.
Halved baseball bats bring the fireplace into the room’s theme. The homeowner’s love of the sport extends to helmets on the coffee table, framed jerseys and a row of bobbleheads.

To keep baseballs from rolling away, stash them in large glass containers. The clear containers, with or without a lid, serve as decor and organization at the same time. Inside, these baseballs could be part of a collection or a place for new baseballs.
If the whole room won’t be dedicated to the sport, find a baseball display case that matches the rest of the sport.
Baseball Gloves
A mural comes to life with a baseball glove attached to the painted catcher’s hand. The rest of the room is also part of the game, from the baseball bat bed frame to the baseball-shaped beanbag chair.

A storage shelf above the bed displays a baseball glove and helmet. This location lets the glove become decor when not in use but gives the baseball player easy access for a game of catch.
Old gloves have a new purpose: wall art. You can include gloves of all ages and from any member of the family to give the wall variety.
Stadium Seats
The row of stadium seats continues down the wall, thanks to a baseball game mural. Today, pool fans can sit in these seats and be right next to the action.

Scoreboard
The home team wins almost every time when you use a scoreboard at home. If it’s a working scoreboard, you can use it to track real sport events or games you play at home.

A scoreboard completes this Oklahoma man cave. The large piece of wall art lets you know right away that these homeowners are not fair-weather baseball fans.

The kitchen might not be the first place you’d think of using a baseball bat, but that doesn’t mean you can’t. These four baseball bat bar stools slide right under the kitchen island and show off your baseball enthusiasm every time someone pulls it out to take a seat.
