Guest Bath
Guest bath revival….Will keep it simple, remove and replace floor, countertop/sink, toilet and light fixture. Leaving the shower/tub as is. Floor came off pretty easy, some of the adhesive was hard to get off in the worn areas. Cabinets are built ins, not great wood, but really nice carpentry went into making them along with the paneling and they are solid. Dove Gray, SW paint, on the wood and a Velspar satin cream white on the walls and small crown molding. Kohler sink, faucet and toilet. I like the top mount sinks, I think it adds some dimension , and easier installation. And I just had to go with the carrara marble countertop and backsplash, since I refused to use it anywhere else in the house because everyone on houzz uses it ..It is beautiful……Just had the floor installed, looks great. We went with a Armstrong vinyl plank called Goncalo Aves-Onyx. I tried to install the Kohler K3615 toilet but failed, it leaked, so I am going to have the plumber do it. Countertop goes in on Tuesday….Plumber installed toilet today, 8/18. Two years after buying our home I have finished all my diy projects…..The Magnolia print is from Magnolia Farms, a few minutes up the street from us.
