Need motivation to clean out your garage? Check out these stunning spaces
Are you one of those people who craves a neat and clean garage, but just can't seem to get it organized? Getting started is often the most difficult part — especially if your garage is a big pile of complete and utter chaos. If National Clean Out Your Garage Day wasn't inspiration enough, try taking a peek at these 5 utterly amazing garages for motivation.
A hydraulic car lift system was installed on the other side of this space, both for working on and storing the owner's vintage cars. The flooring had to be extremely durable in both portions of the garage, so stained and polished concrete was chosen.
2. A transformation into a 1950s diner. These homeowners had their simple garage space transformed into a full-blown 1950s style diner. A black and white checked floor replaces standard concrete, and shiny red vinyl booths were installed against one wall. The setup is completed with a burger bar at the far end, '50s inspired decor on the walls, and plenty of diner-style tables and chairs. It's the absolute perfect place to hold a party.
3. A garage becomes the perfect office. This modern garage space serves as an office and conference space for Yountville, Calif. based Schmitt + Company. When these general contractors moved into a new office, this space was a three-car CMU-block garage. At some point it had been turned into a guest room, so it had the beginnings of a promising room — but a lot of work still had to be done.
Schmitt + Company gutted the space, and eventually it evolved from a storage room into an office space, then into a much-needed conference room. The ceiling was stripped and left exposed, and an aluminum garage door was put in — both to open the room up and let light in. A concrete conference table, shelving, and overhead lighting were all installed.
The new room adds a significant amount of space to the company's offices, and creates a unique but separate area for conferences. The garage door modernizes the space and helps make the room feel much larger.
4. A sleek and modern man cave. Try to ignore the amazing car for a second, and take a look at this impeccably designed garage. The simple and sharp design stays clean with custom black cabinetry and industrial overhead lighting.
A stained concrete floor adds a subtle touch of warmth, but the room still gives off a high-tech and mechanical vibe.

Recessed black shelving allows for a ton of storage without taking up valuable square footage. These cabinets and shelves can hold just about anything a car lover needs — including a flat screen TV (necessary for those long afternoons working on your engine, of course).
The shelving even allows for a ping-pong and air hockey table to be stored inside. Wouldn't it be nice to pull out the Bentley for a day, and fold out these tables for a group tournament? There's even a stainless steel refrigerator in the back for post-game refreshments.
5. An artist's industrial studio. Although this space was commissioned for an artist's studio, the industrial-sized garage doors were built so that large vehicles could pick up and drop off materials used in the artist's sculptures and other work. The 900-square-foot space was given almost twice the height it would normally have to accommodate particularly large pieces.
High ceilings, large windows, and white walls mean this room doesn't need to be lit by anything but natural light during the day.

This man cave is divided up into two main portions: one space made to house the cars used on a regular basis, and one made for his workshop. The owner of this home works on vintage cars and car models quite frequently, so it was vital that this massive garage designated certain areas for certain tasks.
