The third triennale features new installations by renowned artists and architects including Sou Fujimoto, Sputniko! and Mikangumi. 1) Bestiary: Architecture of Smiljan Radić2) architecture exhibition 3) TOTO Gallery Ma, Minato Ward, Tokyo4) July 8 through September 105) Free6) Based in Santiago in Chile, Smiljan Radić has created poetic works inspired by landscapes in Chile and his favorite stories. For example, Serpentine Pavilion 2014, one of his representative works, was based on “The Castle of the Selfish Giant” by Oscar Wilde. July 31, 20165) 1,400 JPY per adult6) Jouy-en-Josas is a town in the southwest suburbs of Paris near Versailles. The European chintz crafted at the factories in this area is called “Toile de Jouy,” widely known as traditional fabrics from France. In full cooperation with the Musée de la Toile de Jouy, this exhibition will be the first full-scale opportunity in Japan to see the world of Toile de Jouy.
