Florida Kitchen
(too dark)
We want a small kitchen island like this, but it's probably too large for the space.

Gorgeous glass-look high gloss ceramic tile.
Colors.
Floor. White cabinets & butcher block counter top.
Whitewashed table.
Diy faux marble countertop.
Beachy colors?
The paint color is Sherwin Williams 6253 - Olympus White.
The paint color is SW Olympus White.
Perfect kitchen. We could still add a pantry on the left side or in place of the refrigerator. I like the combination of white and turquoise.
"Kitchen of the Week: Vintage Beach Bungalow Style -- A coastal color palette, retro details and modern amenities make life easy and cheerful in this 1940s home ... March 18, 2016"
Combination of cabinet style/color. Inset cabinets. We could keep the refrigerator white and paint the stove turquoise, which is what I was planning to do anyway.
Layout. We could theoretically move the refrigerator over by the door, since we won't have such a big door, but would it block light, or being gloss white reflect the light?
Table location, and door.
More cabinets. We could carve this out of the garage.
Outdoors. "The flooring throughout the house is a porcelain tile from Dal Tile - Forest Park 6"x36" in color FP97 Timberland."
"The palette of sea and wood tones continues out on the porch. The building across the way is a guesthouse-garage that was also part of the renovations."
"The kitchen is also open to the living room, where the beachy turquoise accents continue. Here you can see how the architecture of the ceiling delineates the space, with a break in the coffers between the two spaces. "
Excellent layout.
Switch sink and refrigerator.
This is sweet. Would love to turn unusable attic space into cathedral ceiling. Refrigerator would better go where the door is, and move the door to where I assume is a hidden refrigerator. ... "Shiplap or tongue and groove paneling. Covering plain drywall with shiplap or tongue and groove paneling (either horizontal or vertical) is a clever way to bring character to a newer build that lacks architectural detail. Continue the shiplap on the ceiling and cabinetry, and paint it all fresh white for a seamless look."
