Pour It On: Cool Faucets
The personality of every house is made up of hundreds of tiny details, many of which go virtually unnoticed most of the time. Faucets are one of those details. While they’re rarely the focal point of a room, the right faucet can make a good room great. Faucets are a fantastic way to (relatively) inexpensively freshen up a whole room, too – a new faucet makes everything else look a little newer and shinier.
These are a few of my favorite faucets:

Even if this room was accessorized with fussy bath mats and hand towels, the space would still seem fresh and modern thanks to the sleek faucets. These angles are great - they're modern, but not over the top.
I'm a fan of this look overall - I like bowl sinks and faucets that are set into the wall. But what I think is especially cool here is the way that the slightly old-fashioned style of the faucet works with the modern sink. Since the sink is a eggshell color, the overall effect is traditional, but current.
This kitchen is the exact opposite of the bathroom above - a completely traditional kitchen brought into the 21st century with a modern faucet. I love the combination.
This faucet is so prominent that it really does become a focal point. I really like the sleek curve - it's simple, but interesting.
I like how this simple faucet is set into the mirror. It's a cool look, and practical, too (though I wonder how much of a pain it was to install).
This faucet is sort of the opposite of the photo above, but I like them equally. Instead of chrome blending into mirror, here it sharply contrasts with the dark tile. I love how it pops.
I really like the angle of this kitchen faucet, and there's something especially cool about the way the angular faucet works with the round barstools.
