Guest Picks: Get Your Entryway Organized
Get an A+ in back-to-school tidiness with these 20 mudroom essentials
September is usually a busy month. Kids are going back to school, there are no more lazy summer days on our calendar and instead, there are many errands to do.
With that in mind, I picked 20 items I believe add not only beauty but also functionality to your entryway. We all can and should have an organized space when we first enter the house. This can make our days a little easier and I'm all for that! I hope you enjoy them. — Luciane from Home Bunch

Shutter Weathered Oak 4-Bin Entry Locker
This entry locker storage is perfect for the family. I'd love to have it at home because it provides enough storage for gloves and hats, as well as a place for jackets and shoes. Use baskets on the upper shelves to add some color. Oh, and the price is great for this kind of quality. It's something that will last for many years so it's worth the investment. Perfect if you like something neutral in the mudroom.
Calhoun Glass Pendant | Pottery Barn
A pendant light can look great in an entryway. I prefer the ones that have chains so you can easily set them to the best height for your place. This one would look fabulous with a filament lightbulb for some drama.
Contemporary Rugs
You know how busy mornings can be, right? This rug comes in a great color and the message is just perfect when starting a new day.
Note: Well, shoot. It looks like the rug is currently sold out, but keep an eye on the retail site and it might pop back up.

Jonathan Adler Lacquer Umbrella Stand
Accessories are also an opportunity to add color. This umbrella stand has a classic look and you can choose one in your favorite color. They offer it in red, white, turquoise and green.
Roxy Settee
I simply love how happy this fabric is! It's like adding a summer feel to a room. I usually recommend a settee in the entryway because it offers more space to get ready than a single chair — perfect if you're like me, with kids at home.
Blue Skeleton Key 8x10
Art is essential anywhere in a home. I like seeing pictures like this one in an entryway — use a couple of them to bring some interest to the room.
Sugarboo Designs Life is Beauty Full Linen Messenger Bag
I usually leave some totes handy in my mudroom, this one would be great for groceries.
Entryway Boot Tray
Nothing's more annoying than having a clean house and seeing people come in wearing boots filled with dirty snow. I keep these boot trays right by the door so the kids are sure to put their shoes in the right place.
Traditional Plants
Plants are not mandatory, but they always add a homey feel to any space. Live plants are my favorite and this one would look great anywhere.
Farmer's Basket
This basket is not only pretty but also very useful. I'd use it to hold my keys and mail.
Golden Flourish Throw Pillows
I always like to add pillows to my settee or benches. They bring some style and comfort.
Pugg Wall Clock
This classic-looking wall clock is perfect for a mudroom. After all, nobody wants to be late!
Square Wire Basket
There's a wide variety of storage baskets, but I really like this one because of its sturdy material. I know this will last for many years to come.
Day of Our Lives Chalkboard
I love this chalkboard! It's really fun and can get the kids interested in their activities of the day.
Designers Guild - Marienlyst White & White Wallpaper
Want some glamour in your entryway? Add a beautiful wallpaper. I really like this one because it's very neutral and you can't get tired of its design.
Senegalese Storage Collection
Great deal on these three gorgeous baskets. They're handmade in Africa and look good anywhere. Use them to store anything from laundry to toys — really perfect for an entryway.
Painted Cottage Two-Shelf Side Table
This is such a simple table but it brings so much charm! I love it cottage-style. It would look great by a chair or settee and will add more storage space to the mudroom.
Stone Country Ironworks Standing Coat Rack
Entryway essential: a very sturdy coat rack with a very classic look.
Nesting Lacquer Trays
Nesting trays are perfect to store little things that can easily get lost. I keep notepads and a cell phone on mine.
Anatolia Linen Pebble Mosaics
I like seeing natural materials in a mudroom. Pebble floors are extremely durable and delightful.
