Any Way To Save The Uba Tuba?
Ok. Hold up on that car wash. This is the first time I sat up straight and felt a tiny zing of interest/hope for my uba tuba. Change the uba tuba FINSIH? Interesting. Can that be done on site? Would it be possible to cover everything to avoid all that horrid stone dust, God help me? Also, Is it possible to remove our current thick bullnose on site? Changing finish makes me think there may be hope. So stuck on finish I didn't look at cabinet stain or splash. Sort of like dark finish in this photo with counter. Not loving back splash. If room walls were white and backsplash white tile or some type, would that work?
Photo poster was asked what is the granite and poster said granite yard goes by number not name, so name not available. (Weird). If it is uba tuba, or uba tuba-like, it looks decent with dark cabinets which I never would have thought to do. I don't like back splash at all though, looks too rustic for counters. And the raised bar? I like counter height.
Maybe can save counters if EVERYYTHING else white? Never thought of that. Would need to replace current peninsula with island, to use two different countertop materials, which is fine, been wanting to do that since peninsula chosen over island. Still looks a bit traditional (not my style) but best (uba tuba) save photo so far.
Like this combo too. Maybe because of great light in kitchen and shaker cabs?
