Your Christmas Style

Find your Christmas style and decorate differently this year—choose rustic, traditional, or glam
RusticWhen decorating for a rustic style Christmas, imagine a log cabin in Aspen tucked away in the snowy mountains. Cozy, isn’t it? Look for anything made of weathered or reclaimed wood, worn metal, or burlap. Be sure to hang up plenty of garlands and wreaths for that woodsy look. If you can’t have a real Christmas tree, complete with that pine smell, why not try something different? Get a fake tree made of wood planks and avoid that plastic pine.
TraditionalYou can’t go wrong with traditional decor at Christmastime—it’ll make your house feel so homey and festive. To get the look, stick to mostly red and green. Look for Santa, snowman, and reindeer decor (or anything classically Christmas). We especially love plaid, Fair Isle, and snowflake patterns on everything from stockings to throws. And whatever you do, don’t forget that Nutcracker.
GlamWho says Christmas can’t be glamorous and luxe? Who says your tree has to be green? Go for bright pink or pick a tree that’s not even a tree. Add anything with glitter or in hot pink and you’re in business. We also love using metallics to get that luxe look along with anything shining and shimmering.
