Vinyl Wall Decals for all Rooms in the Home
Vinyl wall decals (also known as wall stickers) are a design option I'm highly interested in right now. I'm moving to a new apartment and want to make it my own but I'm not familiar enough with the space yet to really commit to bold, expensive design choices. Wall decals are the perfect solution because the let you express yourself and add to the home in a beautiful but temporary way.
Wall decals work in any room in the house. Some people prefer to keep them in kids' rooms since they're basically stickers that go on the wall (which seems kid-like). However, there are many modern options for adult wall decals that work in the kitchen, dining room, bedroom and throughout the rest of the house.

One of my favorite types of wall decals is the headboard decal. I actually have a bookcase headboard for my bed so I don't need one of these but if I didn't then I'd definitely create the illusion of a headboard with a pretty wall decal.
Add beauty, elegance and another dimension to your home with chandelier decals. These are ideal for dining rooms but work in other spaces as well.
The lighting decals that you use don't have to be chandeliers. These modern lights would look great as wall art in an office or reading space.
Tree decals are one of the most popular choices because they add life and fun to a room. You can choose a brightly colored one or a black silhouette, an artsy one or one that looks realistic. This works in absolutely any room in the house.
One of the really fun things about decorating with wall decals is that it lets you pair three-dimensional shapes against the two-dimensional shape for a really unique look.
I personally love the very dramatic wall decals like this one. I'm not sure if I'd choose it for a bathroom but I can see how it adds a neat dramatic surprise to the bathroom space. This would be more like hallway art for me personally.
Wall decals don't have to scream out loud. This room has a lot going on so the effect of the wall decal on the textured wall is actually really subtle.
Abstract wall decals are a great choice for many homes. This one adds a pop of color to a narrow wall space that might not otherwise get noticed.
If you're feeling creative then you can get a set of wall decals and create a work of art of your own. Sets are usually shapes (I'm considering getting squares) but may also be butterflies, leaves or other items.
Wall decals are especially great in nurseries and kids' rooms. You can add vibrant, colorful images to the wall but they're temporary so you can also easily change them as your kids grow up.
Your wall decal doesn't have to be an image and it doesn't have to go on a wall. This "welcome" message on the front door is a pleasant option, isn't it?
