Frame Your Fireplace For The Holidays
Not only is your fireplace the focal point of your living room, but it’s also the focal point for the holidays (how else will Santa get into your house?). This year, go beyond the stockings and bring an extra dose of cheer to your home by decorating your mantle and hearth. Once your fireplace is festive it’s time to light the fire, sit back with a glass of eggnog, and soak up the cozy feeling of the holidays at home.

DecorA few well-placed accessories around your fireplace can really make a statement. Smaller figurines can go on the mantle and larger statuettes look regal on the hearth. We suggest sticking to one winter theme such as snowmen, Santas, or trees. Just beware of cluttering the space with too many decorations.
ArtworkSwitch out your usual frame above the fireplace for something a little more festive. From snowy scenes to abstract lights, we’ve chosen our favorite holiday artwork for you to choose from. If you choose a simple winter scene you can even keep it up until spring!
Wreaths, Garlands, and PlantsEvery holiday fireplace needs a little natural decoration. Whether real or faux, garlands, wreaths, and plants add instant style and cheer. If you want something simple, hang a garland across the mantle and place a small potted spruce on either side of the hearth. Or, if you don’t want a painting or photograph hanging above on the wall, a big wreath will do the trick.
