Foundation cracks
If the surface is still fairly flat and not bulging (test with a long straight edge) the crack is caused by settling. You would have to know if the crack is getting larger or not to know if this is a problem. If it is done settling it is not a huge issue and the crack can be filled. The worst crack you can get is horizontal cracking which requires structural work.
There are three schools of thought on filling the crack.
1.Hydraulic cement
2.Epoxy resin
3.Urethane foam
The problem with hydraulic cement and epoxy resin are they get super hard and are prone to recracking. They also have trouble filling the entire crack. The newest technology and best way to fill the crack completely so it does not leak is urethane foam.
