Perfecting Your Kitchen Organization
I'd had it. I came home from a vacation in Texas in the spirit of organization, ready to redo whatever it took to streamline and create a better flow in my kitchen. Though generally very organized, I shifted supplies and materials around, and focused on creating a bulk section along the back white tiling. Ironically, I was so busy focusing on my kitchen that I brought in takeout (!) but I'm already excited about the changes. So far I've focused on:
CREATING BULK. I took all of the random packaging and created a streamlined bulk section along my white tiling. This streamlines the look as well as the cooking process.
DISPLAYED MY COOKBOOKS. The vintage ones and the useful ones. I lined them up for easy access without compromising working cooking space.
I EMBRACED THE CHAOS. Not being a large kitchen or my own kitchen (I'm renting a house), I can't always hide everything. But I'm loving the stack of white dishes that create a chic workable texture.
These photos provided me with some insight and inspiration for rethinking several aspects of my kitchen, from how to best use open storage, to how to create order in chaos. I hope they inspire you as well.

This is what I call organized chaos--lots going on with an eclectic but streamlined look.
