Making Bedtime Fun: Great Kids' Beds
My son is almost three years old and he is a terrible sleeper. As bedtime nears, he starts to get crazy, resisting the walk upstairs every way he knows how. Once in bed, he doesn't stay asleep, usually waking up during the night and heading upstairs to find my husband and me. He wakes up early, too. Apparently the little angel has some sort of natural internal caffeine drip.
We're very tired and we're willing to try anything to get him to sleep more easily, longer, less fitfully. Lately, I've started wondering if better sleep might be as simple as a more inviting bed.
So I went in search of some great kids' beds, and here's what I found:

So I went in search of some great kids' beds, and here's what I found:
Settling into these bright stripes and polka dots would be fun every night.
This girly bed looks comfortable and sweet.
This faux canopy would fuel a million princess dreams.
This canopy alternative is a cute way to create a dreamy, but not overly fussy, little niche.
A trundle bed makes sleepovers that much easier.
Modern kids will love the stripes that give these beds a very cool look.
Going handmade gives a kids' room an old-fashioned, comfortable feel.
Little boys will love heading for sleep in a school bus bed (though I have to admit that I wonder if they'll be too excited to actually fall asleep in one).
