Hello all. sorry out of touch. Floor installed on first (bedrooms) level at my beach house, I have Ridge with the cork, color is Sutton. I posted earlier pictures and will try to upload again. I think the product is very good. The planks are good quality and heavy duty vs. what my daughter in law just put down 20 mil vs. Ridge 40 mil. She used a lesser quality (unknown to me) but it still looks nice. However, since I'm witness to both qualities, there is no comparison. Flooret is the winner. I even told the workers they can score the boards and crack them over their knee...they didn't believe me but then they thanked me. Cutting on a saw makes a big mess but thats a choice. We did cut on the saw when necessary but it splits fairly easily. It feels very
solid underfoot. Prep work is important to have a good base, measuring and cutting is the time consumer. Once you get going, it goes pretty well. Not sure I can speak to the noise of walking from floor to floor. Its new for me and I think something one needs to get used to. These are two bedrooms but same floor. I used wood transition strips (36" at Lowes) because these floors meet a porcelain tile floor and I wasn't sure how it would line up so I needed flexibility. My nephew is using a scrap block to tap a scrap Ridge to set the board. Of course you don't want to tap the board itself or it may break the locking system. I hope I helped you make decisions. Sorry photos are out of order. I don't think you can go wrong with Flooret its not flimsy but stiff and strong...I know because I dropped a few things and nothing happened. Good luck.
