The Wing Chair
The historic wing chair (also known as the club chair or grandfather chair) became popularized during the Edwardian era around 1901. As design sensibilities moved from the heavy and ornate style of the Victorian era, the wing chair was a key piece contributor to the lighter furniture and decor of the period.
