Your Colors: Reconsider Princely Purple
Look at Purple With Fresh Eyes and Add it to Unexpected Palettes

This striking purple rug gives this otherwise neutral room a vibrant base.
It's been awhile since color theory class so I don't know why yellow and purple are working so well here, but WOWZA! How fab are those purple crystals that seem to drip down onto the purple sofa? Simply divine!

Our own in-Houzz King of Purple (and lavender, and even mauve), Decor Demon, is on a real purple tear at home lately.
Tip: Spray painting an inexpensive light fixture from IKEA is a great way to give purple a whirl without breaking the bank.
