I painted vents. Patched and painted nail holes. Walls are bare! I removed the computer desk. I also removed the oversized white/grey chair. I brought in a smaller accent chair and moved it closer to the fireplace. Played with some mantle decor as well. I’ll post pics tomorrow.
My question for now.... I’m thinking about doing two diy shelves over the couch on the large (now empty) wall. Couch is 122”, I was thinking each shelf to be 96”, stack one over the other. But per your art suggestion jck910, should shelves be 80” long? Would 96” work or be too long? and with all that do I center shelves with couch or wall? Remember it’s a vaulted ceiling so the peak makes the center of the wall obvious. Btw I can’t center the couch or the chaise would sit too far past optimal tv viewing.
