Since I had trouble finding reviews and info on LVP flooring before I purchased, I thought I would add my 2 cents to a few threads here. After 2 years of researching and trying samples, I finally purchased enough EZlay LVP looselay in Almond Crunch colour to do our log cabin at the lake. It is approx. 1080 square ft. I recently finished doing our 26 x 15 loft bedroom. The floor does have to be very flat but once it is, then the install goes very well. This product is not a click lock but butts up very tightly to each piece and is secured at the perimeter either with light contact adhesive or 2 sided tape or fitted tightly against the walls. It is 5mm thick, 20 mil wear layer and has a fiberglass core so that it doesn't shrink or expand like many of the click lock types. You don't leave a 1/4 inch expansion space at the perimeters.
I can't speak to how well it will wear, other than it has a lifetime warranty for residential and 15 year commercial and I was told it is installed in a lot of commercial places.
I am very happy with the finished results. There are no spaces in the seams and it is flat with no lippage. I will attach several not great pics I took with my I pad. I am now starting on pulling up old lino on the main floor and prepping to install the rest of my new flooring.
I like that if a piece is damaged, it can just be lifted out and replaced. Also there is very little waste when installing as the edges are all the same and the piece can be flipped around and a cut off piece is just used at the start or end of another row. The factory edges fit very tightly together and you always use factory edges except against walls if cuts are required.
